Nidan, an NGO working in Bihar Registered under Societies Registration Act in 1996 is headed by Mr. Arvind Singh. He is a sociologist by training from Delhi University and has been active in the development sector since fifteen years. Nidan has promoted and built 20 independent profit-making ventures governed and owned by the urban poor including waste workers, ragpickers, vegetable vendors, construction laborers, domestic helpers, micro-framers, street traders and other marginalized occupation groups.
