The Indian Air Force (IAF) team including Sgt. Tejinder Singh Kapoor, WO Gautam Dhar Gupta, JWO Vikram Singh Yadav, Sgt. L. Madan Mohan Reddy and Sgt. Ravinder Singh Rawat traversed 10 Himalayan passes on ‘Hero Impulse’ bikes from Hero Motocorp Ltd, covering a distance of 926 km in 51 hrs and 15 min. They started their journey on May 18, 2012 at 08:50 am from Marsimik La crossing Chang La, Khardung La, Tanglang La, Horlam La, Lachulung La, Nakee La, Baralacha La, Rohtang La and concluded on May 20, 2012 at 12:05 pm at Jalori La in Kullu Valley. They were felicitated by India Book of Records for their achievement, on February 27, 2013, at Record Breakers’ Festival, at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Noida, U.P.
