Gangte Christian Gospel Centenary Committee, Manipur, organized a mass bible reading event in which a total of 7,047 participants from Gangte tribe of Manipur read the book of Romans (chapter 1-16) from the holy Bible continuously in the standing position for a total duration of 1 hour and 27 minutes, from 1:26 pm to 2:53 pm on December 16, 2012, at Chiengkonpang, Churachandpur, Manipur.
