It is to bring to the kind notice of public and media that the news in connection with the barefoot running marathon world record attempt by Jorhat cop Mr. Abhijeet Baruah published in some newspapers ‘BK Chandrasekhar Tiwari, the Indian observer for the Guinness Book of World Records’ on February 1, 2012 is incorrect. It may be kindly noted that Dr. B. K. Chandra Shekhar Tiwari represent only India Book of Records and has no connection with Guinness Book of World Records or and other record certifying body.
