Hydroger Made of Composite Material

Imli Toshi Namo of Nagaland created a hydroger made of bamboo composite material (developed from blending of bamboo fibers and polymer resins; cross-links bonded under pressure and heat) and is a low cost alternative of the cast iron ones. The cost of 2 kW capacities is RS 15000. The composite material is made of 30:70 parts of resin (phenyl formaldehyde and natural starch) and bamboo fibers. It is very low cost alternative of hydrogers made of Cast iron. The product was introduced in the market in the year 2006.
