HIGHEST ADVENTURE CAMP FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Dr. Vangeepuram Sreenathachary (born on October 24, 1970), Asst. Professor and NSS Volunteers of Palamaru, Mahatma Gandhi & Osmania University, Mahabubnagar, Andhra Pradesh, participated in a Six day Adventure Camp for university students, which was sponsored by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, and was executed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, under the Pilot Scheme ‘Youth to the edge’, starting from April 13, 2012 and ending on April 18, 2012 at Roing, Mayudia (3000 mtr above sea level), Arunachal Pradesh. The volunteers underwent more than 25 different training activities including rock climbing, mountain climbing, trekking and river crossing.
