Sandeep Kumar of Ramna created a bicycle which consists of a number of lockable or joints that permit it to be folded into a compact size. Its wheelbase is 20 inches. It is a folding bicycle, which can be assembled, dismantled easily in a very short span of time (5 minutes each) and is very light weight (12.5kg) that can be transported easily. It requires 20-inch long bag for transporting. Although the concept of the ‘Folding Bicycle’ is not new but the mechanism followed by innovator for folding cycle is his own, the advantage being simplicity and low cost.
