Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. launched Yamaha YZF R15, the first sports bike made in India, on June 12, 2008. It has a liquid-cooled engine, 4-stroke single cylinder, 150 cc engine and eight gears. It has a dimension of 1,995 x 670 x 1,070 mm and weighs 120-130 kgs. Its cost is Rs 97,5000 (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). It has a top speed of 135 kph.
