Bharat Jashvantlal Shah (born on January 5, 1954) of Surat, Gujarat started the first ‘Shankh Dhwani’ Club on May 30, 2010 in Gujarat organizing people for mass conch blowing in various localities in the city. Bharat believes that prolonged blowing of the Shank can bring about physical, mental and spiritual progress. It was started with the 25 learners, today there are 17 doctors and 107 other people who are the members of the club.
