Prabhakar Rao AVR (born on April 5, 1979) along with Bhaskar MJV, the duo of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, successfully completed the Golden Quadrilateral (GQ) expedition on a 1248cc, Fiat Grande Punto 90 HP, within the duration of 79 hours and 28 minutes starting form Bangalore on May 5, 2012 at 4.05pm and after traversing through 13 states, they concluded on May 8, 2012 at 11.33pm, having covered 5968 km.

Fastest Team to Circumnavigate the Golden Quardilateral

Tarun Kumar Tripathy, Ashish Tripathy, and Prateek Darolia of Chennai (Tamil Nadu) circumnavigated the golden quadrilateral in a Honda CR-V 2.0. They started their feat at 4.30 am on December 9, 2009 and ended on December 12, 2009 at 6.02 pm, covering a staggering distance of 6041.7 km in 85 hours and 32 minutes. The Golden Quadrilateral is a highway network in India connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, thus forming a quadrilateral of sorts.
